# I’m NO Quitter

Happy July!!! It's hard to believe that we are half way through 2019\. Time flies when your life is an adventure 😊

Are you familiar with my [54 Before 54](http://lifewithlisa.blog/2019/02/11/54-before-54/?ref=lisaromerodugal.com) that was published February 11th of this year? Steven & I were on a road trip when he was sharing with me *The Cross of Life*, which consists of 4 categories of life:

- Spiritual
- Family
- Personal
- Business
- During the course of that conversation, the idea was born to create a list of things I wanted to accomplish prior to my upcoming 54th birthday in December. We had so much fun coming up with ideas which would touch on all of these areas (except for business) while promoting personal growth.
- I've closed out the month of June by embracing and accomplishing 24 things, 4 are currently in motion, 5 are ongoing, and 21 things await me. So much growth along the way, and so much FUN!
- Everything experienced this year - BOTH the triumphs AND challenges, reminded me of my strength this morning...
- One month into Orangetheory, and I've never been in a "partner" class. Until this morning... When the coach said today was partner day, my mood dropped along with my self esteem as I looked around the class. Remember in school during PE class when teams were being formed? I was never a team sport kind of girl. Throw a ball my way, and my instinct is not to catch but to duck. Therefore, leaving me one of the last standing to be chosen 😔
- I partnered with a young lady as I struggled with my urge to bolt. I began self affirmations, reminding myself that this is MY hour, I SHOWED up, and I'm going to DO THIS! So, I gave it my all.
- So, there!!! I stayed. I conquered. I EARNED those splats. And yes, while I'm glad it's over I KNOW that next time I won't be so freaked out when "partner day" is announced. Thank you Orangetheory for the opportunity for growth 💪🏼
- I would say July is off to a strong start. It will be filled with family, friends and travel. AND personal milestones. Stay tuned.
- I'm SO thankful that I chose not to quit but to stay and participate instead. Stay strong my friends, you can do anything you set your mind to!
- ***Imagine*** with all your mind \~ ***Believe*** with all your heart \~ ***Achieve*** with all your might
