# ✨ Leaving 2024 Feeling Empowered ✨

My 2024 Word of the Year was Empowered, and I’m proud to say I truly embraced it. Looking back, this year was filled with incredible milestones, meaningful connections, and so much gratitude.

💖 Highlights of 2024:

- Kicking off the year witnessing the birth of my 4th grandchild, a moment I’ll forever cherish.
- Watching my son marry his beautiful wife in a stunning destination wedding in Cancun—so much love and joy! Seeing Christina wear my veil was such an honor.
- Quality time with family: From Mardi Gras skiing adventures with Addie’s first time on skis to July hikes with Reid in Crested Butte—family makes everything special.

- Moments of Empowerment:  
  - Earned my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in April with the incredible Bayou Yoga community.
  - Taught my first yoga class in December—such a fulfilling experience!

🎉 Memorable Trips and Celebrations:

- March: Welcomed Sr. Mary Andrew to New Orleans for St. Joseph’s Altar, plus a quick MP Conference getaway to the Breakers.
- May: Magical Disney trip with Katy and Addie—what an adventure!
- June: Cancun wedding—pure magic.
- October: First UL game in Hattiesburg, Steven’s 60th birthday hibachi party, and family photos with a full nest!
- December: Turned 59, celebrated 36 years of marriage, spent time on UL’s campus, finished with 45 credits, and applied for graduation!

👩‍👧‍👦 Above All: The greatest blessing of all was spending quality time with family and friends, cherishing every moment, and watching my grandchildren grow.
