Tis the season to be jolly, Falalalala Lalalala 🎄🎉. Are you ready for Christmas? I sure am!!!

Today I was home alone, so after I finished up a few things, I decided to try something new. During my **54 Before 54**, I went vegan for five days. Not a long time at all, but enough time to get a taste of it. Following that, I had my dinner party and I received the cookbook, *Forks Over Knives* which is filled with plant-based recipes.

I’ve spent time reading the introduction and perusing the recipes and was ready to try a veggie burger. While the recipe was not in the book, I prepared the Five-Ingredient Veggie Burger, from their website, [https://www.forksoverknives.com/](https://www.forksoverknives.com/?ref=lisaromerodugal.com) I must admit, it wasn’t too bad for my first attempt and I will try it again.

I’m looking forward to trying many more recipes from this wonderful cookbook.

Do you have a favorite vegan recipe or resource you’d like to share? I’m listening!!!

I've been getting into more meat-less meals as part of my health initiative, and I love to try things like this.
