# The Purge

Today is a new day, new beginning. Last night after a wonderful Mother's Day weekend with my family, I began the process of purging my closet and decluttering our house. It was causing me anxiety. This morning, it's freeing.

I've invested in help with my house, and at this very moment it's being deep cleaned by professionals. It feels better already knowing that I'm in the solution. The professional clean will give me the jump start I so desperately needed.

It's been my experience that mental decluttering is just as important. I first learned this through step work. It's hard work, yet so freeing.

So today as I continue to purge the physical things and the mental thoughts, I make room in my home and mind for things that are important and encourage healthy growth.

Through the purge, a weight is lifted giving me a new vision for opportunities. And that's a good feeling!!!
